About the role#
Foxconn Industrial Internet is hiring a Supply Chain Compliance Intern to join the Supply Chain and Procurement Management team in Houston. This part-time role runs for 13 weeks during the Fall 2026 semester. You will work 20 hours per week, with a schedule that can be adjusted to fit your academic commitments. This position focuses on trade compliance, tariff classification, and procurement data management.
What you'll do#
- Review and update HTS code assignments for all active North America account part numbers.
- Research current tariff rates and validate them against CBP and USTR published schedules.
- Use SAP to extract active part numbers and account data for the tariff database update.
- Conduct a gap analysis to find missing or incorrect HTS code entries and tariff rate records.
- Present your findings and recommendations to SCPM and SCM leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Relations, Industrial Engineering, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to navigate and research the USITC HTS Online database.
- High attention to detail, especially when working with compliance-sensitive information.
