About the role#
Foxconn Industrial Internet is looking for a Supply Chain Sourcing Intern to join the Supply Chain and Procurement Management team in Houston. This part-time role lasts for 13 weeks during the Fall 2026 semester. You will focus on supplier data management, sourcing compliance, and risk assessment by auditing our current database and improving our documentation processes.
What you'll do#
- Audit the existing supplier database to find missing data across core fields like manufacturing addresses and audit status.
- Verify records by cross-referencing legal entity addresses and contacting suppliers to confirm or collect missing information.
- Manage the RBA Online portal to document audit statuses for active North American suppliers.
- Collect and track Business Continuity Plan documents through direct outreach to suppliers.
- Create a compliance gap report that ranks suppliers by risk priority.
- Build supplier risk metrics and KPIs to help us monitor high-risk accounts.
- Write a Standard Operating Procedure for ongoing database maintenance.
- Present your findings, compliance gaps, and recommendations to the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel for data tracking, pivot tables, and gap analysis.
- Ability to organize, cross-reference, and validate large datasets.
- Strong communication skills for contacting suppliers via phone and email.
- High attention to detail when handling compliance-sensitive information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is helpful but not required.
