About the role#
This is a one-year, full-time fellowship beginning in June 2027. You will work directly with the Chief Medical Officer to conduct health services research and perform quality and safety assessments. The role involves using data to support academic medical centers, teaching hospitals, and integrated health delivery networks. You will gain exposure to senior-level executives while contributing to performance improvement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with internal analytic teams and healthcare providers on various strategic initiatives.
- Support Operations and Quality Executives by fulfilling analytical requests related to clinical improvement, such as length of stay, mortality, cost, and readmissions.
- Conduct quantitative analysis and manage projects to help clinical staff develop performance improvement strategies.
- Assist in managing, enhancing, and developing data-driven products and performance improvement tools.
- Support the organizational strategic plan by leveraging clinical and operational databases.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in a related field, such as Data Science, Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or Statistics.
- A completed internship within a healthcare setting.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
