About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship focused on indirect spend within the healthcare industry. You will join the Indirect Spend team to support projects that improve member resources, strengthen supplier engagement, and identify growth opportunities in non-bid categories. The program runs from June 8, 2026, to August 14, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Support the Indirect Spend team with supplier management, category strategy, and project execution.
- Maintain and update internal SharePoint content, such as the VizTech Knowledge Hub.
- Assist in data collection and analysis to build RFPs.
- Participate in supplier research, bid evaluation, financial analysis, and scoring.
- Research potential new categories by assessing market share, member usage, and growth potential.
- Collaborate with Category Managers to refresh supplier onboarding tools and documentation.
- Document bid strategies and support contract negotiations through process tracking.
- Prepare findings and presentations for leadership review.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year accredited college, university, or graduate program in good academic standing.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of undergraduate studies or a recently completed degree.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- A basic understanding of workplace ethics and effective communication.
- Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to coordinate projects.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information for problem-solving.

- This position is based on-site in Irving, Texas.
- This is a full-time role at 40 hours per week.
