About the role#
The 2026 Kaufman Hall Analyst Program is seeking a Strategy and Business Transformation (SBT) Analyst to join the team in Chicago. This full-time, paid position begins in August 2026 and provides the opportunity to work with enterprise-level healthcare clients on complex business problems. Analysts receive an initial three-week training period covering the healthcare landscape and core technical skills before being staffed on multiple client engagements alongside a team of senior professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support multiple strategy engagements simultaneously.
- Develop, analyze, and interpret advanced Excel models using client data.
- Create and apply solutions to strategic and organizational issues.
- Build presentations and work products for clients and Board members.
- Assist the practice with internal documentation, business development tasks, and client management support.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Health Administration.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Intellectual curiosity and high intelligence.
- Energetic, career-motivated professional with a strong work ethic.
- Current Permanent US Work Authorization is required.

- Travel: Ability to travel, as required, typically ranging between 5% and 25%.
