About the role#
The Student Recreation Center at Vincennes University is hiring for part-time staff positions. This role involves maintaining facility standards and assisting patrons. You will report to the Director of Campus Recreation and Facilities and work up to 28 hours per week across morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
What you'll do#
- Clean and disinfect all fitness equipment.
- Set up and tear down for events.
- Enforce facility rules, policies, and regulations.
- Inspect the center and report unsafe conditions to the shift leader.
- Answer questions from patrons.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain focus on work tasks while on the clock.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in various locations within the Recreation Center or P.E. Complex.
- First Aid, BBP, CPR, and AED certifications are preferred but not required.
