About the role#
The Student Activities department at the Vincennes University Jasper campus is hiring for student hourly positions. These roles offer flexible shifts during the morning, afternoon, or evening to fit around your academic schedule. You will report to the Student Success and Engagement Coordinator.
What you'll do#
- Clean and disinfect gym equipment.
- Work across various campus locations including the Ruxer Gym, JCCB Rec Room, and ACE.
- Assist with setting up and tearing down for campus events.
- Enforce rules and regulations within the gym and weight room.
- Inspect the Ruxer Gym weight room and report any safety concerns or equipment issues.
- Learn the operation of all gym equipment.
- Answer questions from visitors.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma or GED is required.
- Certifications in First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP), CPR, and AED are preferred but not required.

- Location: Jasper, Indiana.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, typically 8 to 10 hours per week.
