About the role#
The Technical Production Operations Engineer Co-op supports our Production Support Operations team. You will monitor automated processes, identify issues, and assist in troubleshooting efforts. This role provides hands-on experience with financial services applications while working alongside senior team members. You will follow established procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and support automated batch processing jobs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and issue resolution under the guidance of senior staff.
- Document technical procedures and maintain knowledge bases.
- Escalate issues and collaborate with technical teams for resolution.
- Communicate with internal teams to prevent issues and manage client expectations.
- Partner with internal departments to provide customer service.
- Participate in shift work as part of a 24/7 support team, including potential evening or early morning hours.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a BA or BS degree, preferably in Finance or Computer Science.
- Interest in technical operations and enterprise software support.
- Knowledge or interest in the financial sector.
- Experience with MS Windows, SQL, or Dynatrace.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Collaborative skills for working within cross-functional teams.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to handle situations resourcefully.
- A self-starter mindset with the judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Location & details#
- Location: Wakefield, Massachusetts (On-site).
- Schedule: This is a full-time, paid position with rolling terms.
- Shift hours: 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM EST or 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM EST.
- Compensation: $19 to $22 per hour.
