About the role#
Vestmark is looking for a Cloud Engineer Co-op to join the Platform Engineering team for the Winter 2027 term. You will work with the client infrastructure implementation and deployment team to learn how to provision services and infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code. You will partner with cloud and systems engineers to support the VestmarkONE SaaS platform.
What you'll do#
- Deploy and validate new cloud infrastructure for development, testing, and production.
- Contribute ideas during design and planning sessions to build your understanding of cloud architecture.
- Assist senior engineers with knowledge transfer and process workflows.
- Troubleshoot issues across the cloud stack and help find resolutions.
- Participate in design reviews focused on cloud architecture and performance optimization.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for your daily tasks and project work.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience writing technical documentation.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with network technologies like VLAN, HTTP(S), SSL/TLS, and SFTP.
- Familiarity with SaaS applications.

- The role is a hybrid position.
- This is a full-time, paid co-op opportunity.
