About the role#
This internship is a 10-week, full-time program for students interested in data science within the Verizon Consumer Group. You will work on real-time projects that contribute to business operations. This role is hybrid, requiring a mix of remote work and time in the Basking Ridge, NJ office as determined by your manager.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Sales, Service, and CX teams to understand operational workflows and deliver data solutions.
- Develop conversational UIs and integrate AI capabilities, agents, and LLMs into business processes.
- Build and enhance scalable data assets, dashboards, semantic layers, and gold layers.
What you'll need#
- Attendance at the October 20, 2026 Verizon VTeamer for a Day in Basking Ridge, NJ.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Good academic standing.
- Ability to work full-time from June 2027 to August 2027.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship.
- Experience in advanced predictive analytics and data architecture.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and relocate.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Location & details#
- Location: Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
- Modality: Hybrid (includes remote work and at least three days per week in the office).
- Compensation: $27.00 per hour.
