About the role#
As a People Services Data Analytics Intern, you will join our team to gain hands-on experience in reporting and analytics. You will learn how to translate customer needs into actionable data frameworks and work alongside team members to deliver a final report or analysis product. This role involves exploring various systems and tools, including Workday and Tableau, to support our internal operations.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of a reporting and analytics team.
- Gather requirements for specific reporting initiatives.
- Establish frameworks for system functionality and data relationships.
- Contextualize customer needs using available data sets.
- Collaborate with the team on daily reporting tasks.
- Deliver a completed report or analysis product by the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, or Human Resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- US Citizenship.
- Current full-time enrollment at a QTS partner institution or a Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, or facilities engineering.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Involvement in community activities outside of schoolwork.
