About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Overland Park, Kansas. You will work on-site and contribute to real company objectives during the life-cycle of data center operations. The program includes orientation, weekly lunch and learns, site activities, and volunteering events.
What you'll do#
- Review, validate, and process vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Assist with invoice coding and routing approvals based on company policies.
- Create templates and processes for supplier requests and internal communication.
- Scrub and refine the supplier statement portfolio.
- Monitor AP workflows and research payment discrepancies or inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on specific projects and initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Human Resources, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- You must be a US Citizen.
- Preferred experience includes previous internships in finance, technology, or related industries, as well as knowledge of Python, Java, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Preference is given to students currently enrolled at Auburn University, Kansas State University, Georgia State University, Southern Adventist University, Texas A&M University, the University of Kansas, or a Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school.
