About the role#
Venture Solar is looking for a Business Development Intern to join our inside sales team in Stamford. You will work alongside senior leadership and operations to connect with homeowners, explain the benefits of solar energy and home electrification, and schedule meetings for our sales team. This role offers a chance to build business skills and gain experience in the renewable energy industry.
What you'll do#
- Reach out to prospective customers via phone, email, and other approved channels.
- Educate homeowners on solar energy and home electrification.
- Identify potential sales opportunities and schedule qualified appointments.
- Follow up with customers to keep them engaged.
- Coordinate outreach efforts and manage the handoff process to the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and activities.
- Participate in regular training and coaching sessions to improve your skills.
- Work toward individual and team goals for outreach and appointment setting.

Location & details#
- Location: Stamford, Connecticut.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
- Compensation: $18 per hour plus commission and performance bonuses.
