About the role#
The Future Leaders Program Finance Internship is a full-time, paid summer opportunity designed to help you build technical skills and gain real-world experience. You will work on projects that focus on business improvement and efficiency while receiving mentorship and performance feedback. This internship may lead to selection into a two-and-a-half-year development rotational program following graduation.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine assignments and resolve problems to support your team.
- Use financial principles to solve business problems.
- Conduct forecasting, planning, and financial modeling for areas like income, profitability, liquidity, capital, and operating expenses.
- Prepare recurring or ad-hoc financial reports, analysis, and cost-benefit studies.
- Contribute to proactive analysis to assist with decision-making and resource utilization.
- Identify and manage risks related to business activities.
- Ensure all work follows regulatory and compliance guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date after August 13, 2027, with a preference for Spring 2028 graduates.
- 0 to 2 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial statements and balance sheets.
- Foundational knowledge of data analysis and technical finance or accounting concepts.
- Ability to conduct research and produce professional reports.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in either San Antonio, Texas, or Charlotte, North Carolina.
- The program runs during the summer of 2027.
