About the role#
Trans Ova Genetics is hiring a Professional Services intern for the Summer 2027 term. This role focuses on reproductive technologies and client service within the California region. You will work alongside our professional services and lab teams to support on-farm procedures and laboratory operations. A key part of this internship is completing a project relevant to current procedural development needs and sharing your findings with the team.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research and analyze data for your culminating project.
- Assist with IVF lab tasks such as ovum pickup, oocyte grading, and embryo freezing.
- Learn the in-vitro process for cattle and small ruminants.
- Use digital platforms like Ova Drive to manage records.
- Represent the company during client interactions.
- Educate team members on your project scope and findings.
- Provide feedback on your internship experience.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of undergraduate studies.
- A background in agriculture, specifically livestock production or pre-veterinary science.
- A degree in Agriculture or Animal Science is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs like Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- A valid U.S. driver's license.
- A self-motivated approach to professional development.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Turlock, California.
