About the role#
The Regulatory Intern supports the state regulatory activities required to maintain business operations at UPL. You will assist with the registration and marketability of assigned product lines by working with trade associations, grower groups, and industrial partners.
What you'll do#
- Compile and submit data and documentation for product registration across all states.
- Maintain and update internal regulatory database tracking systems.
- Process state registration fees, including annual renewals and new product licenses.
- Interpret state registration requirements to ensure company compliance.
- Monitor current state regulations and share updates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide regulatory support to team members and respond to inquiries from state agencies or customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts program in Agriculture.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
