About the role#
As a Territory Sales Intern at UPL, you support sales activities for our farming products across an assigned geographic area. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Territory Sales Managers and Technical Service Managers during sales and promotional calls with retailers, distributors, and growers.
- Help prepare and deliver presentations for customer meetings.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, meetings, and conventions.
- Assist with demo and trial work in the field.
- Participate in agronomic training, including crop scouting and investigating product claims.
- Support the sales team with daily territory functions as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program or higher in Agronomy, Crop Sciences, Soil Science, or a related field.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly regulated industry.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills to build relationships and address client needs.
