About the role#
The Marketing Intern will support the Crop Protection unit at UPL. You will assist in building strategic and tactical go-to-market business plans while gaining exposure to the farming industry.
What you'll do#
- Help develop go-to-market brand plans, including communication strategies and tactics.
- Research customer needs and analyze market trends, including micro and macro environmental influences.
- Evaluate the competitive landscape to inform brand and product planning.
- Support marketing operations, such as managing social media content and assisting with tradeshows.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager on brand development and product positioning.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s program for Marketing, Agricultural Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work across different functions.
- Knowledge of product and brand marketing principles, including pricing, placement, and promotion.

- This is an on-site role based in Cary, North Carolina.
- The position is full-time and paid.
- This is a rolling internship.
