About the role#
The Office of Financial Aid is hiring a Student Assistant to support our Client Services Teams. This position involves direct interaction with the university community and requires a professional approach to administrative tasks.
What you'll do#
- Staff the front desk and the call center.
- Greet students, parents, and visitors.
- Answer basic questions about FAFSA, scholarships, and deadlines.
- Explain financial aid processes to students and their families.
- Handle general clerical duties and special projects.
- Maintain the confidentiality of student records.
What you'll need#
- Must be enrolled in and attending classes at USF.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Dependable and punctual habits.
- General office skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with potential for additional daytime hours.
- Term: Rolling.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
