About the role#
The USF Health Office of Research is seeking a Federal Work Study student to provide administrative and office support. This position offers the opportunity to gain professional experience in a research administration environment while supporting the daily operations of the office.
What you'll do#
- Collect and distribute office mail on a daily basis.
- Maintain office kitchen and break room inventory, including stocking supplies as needed.
- Conduct weekly inventory checks of kitchen and office supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
- Print and organize monthly financial reports and purchasing card documentation.
- Assist with filing, organizing, and binding financial records from prior fiscal years.
- Organize and maintain office supply storage areas and inventory records.
- Support records management, document organization projects, and digital file maintenance.
- Perform general clerical duties and support special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current USF student with Federal Work Study (FWS) allocation.
- Ability to provide proof of FWS allocation and a current student schedule.
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Ability to assist with various administrative and operational duties.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, Communications, Political Science, Sociology, or Psychology.
