About the role#
The Office of the City Manager in Sacramento is looking for a student assistant to help with strategic data analytics and performance reporting. You will work on projects that track city priorities and assist departments in making data-informed decisions.
What you'll do#
- Support analytics initiatives and performance reporting.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data sets.
- Build and maintain dashboards to monitor city metrics.
- Create reports and visualizations that aid decision-making.
- Handle various administrative tasks and projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student at an accredited college or university on the affiliation list.
- A declared major in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Public Health, or Business Administration.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

- This position is located in Sacramento, California.
- Work is performed on-site in an office environment.
- This is a part-time, temporary position.
- You must reside in California throughout the course of your employment.
