About the role#
The California Privacy Protection Agency is hiring a student assistant to provide clerical support within the Human Resources office. This is a part-time, temporary position that offers a hybrid work environment. You will work up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM.
What you'll do#
- Collect, review, and track employee timesheets.
- Monitor employee leave accounts.
- Update organizational charts.
- Log employee training records and probationary reports.
- Assist in the preparation of hiring documents and schedule interviews.
What you'll need#
- You must be a college student attending classes during the regular term in Business Administration, Communications, or English.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong grasp of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
- Understanding of the principles and processes for providing quality customer service.
