About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring two Student Assistants to join the Client Technology Services unit. You will work on-site in West Sacramento to support various information technology systems. This is a part-time, temporary position with flexible hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Configure and image personal computers and various hardware setups.
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 systems, iOS mobile devices, and printers.
- Organize, track, and document hardware inventory and storage.
- Create and maintain Knowledge Articles and SharePoint documentation.
- Update program documentation and job aids.
- Maintain statistics and performance metrics using Excel.
- Process forms and keep accurate records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least six semester units or nine quarter units. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least four semester units or six quarter units.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and work ethic skills.
- Effective communication abilities across email, phone, web conferencing, and in-person settings.
- Strong business and technical writing, research, and analytical skills.
- You must be organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
Location & details#
- The position is located in West Sacramento, California.
- You must reside in California and perform all work within the state.
- This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods, stand, and walk, as well as the use of standard office equipment.
