About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a student assistant to work in the Accounting Office. This is a part-time, temporary position that provides support under the supervision of an Accounting Administrator. You will gain experience using the FI$Cal system in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Perform accounting tasks using FI$Cal.
- Process and pay invoices.
- Handle incoming mail routing.
- Manage document scanning and filing.
- Provide customer service support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university on our affiliation list.
- A declared major in Accounting or a closely related field.
- Enrollment in at least six-semester units or nine quarter units for undergraduates.
- A minimum GPA of 2.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote. You must reside in California, and all work must be performed within the state.
- The schedule is flexible between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, as determined by your supervisor.
- Students generally work up to 24 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks.
