About the role#
Union Pacific Railroad is hiring a Year Round Intern for its logistics arm, Loup Logistics. This role offers hands-on experience in multi-modal transportation, including rail and truck services. You will work within a team focused on transload, intermodal, and strategic services to support North American shippers. This is a paid position requiring on-site work in Omaha, Nebraska.
What you'll do#
- Support customer outreach, shipment tracking, and sales enablement tasks.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve logistics workflows, shipment visibility, and equipment utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement action plans.
- Manage project deliverables related to equipment utilization and customer engagement scoring.
- Use industry tools to document work and analyze data.
What you'll need#
- College credits equivalent to at least one year toward an undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic organization, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 15 to 25 hours per week during the academic year, with full-time availability required during the summer months.
