About the role#
This is a year-round internship within the Finance department. You will work 15 to 25 hours per week during the school year and full-time during the summer. We place interns in areas including accounting, corporate audit, real estate, tax, treasury, and planning and analysis based on your skills and preferences. You will handle projects similar to those of a financial analyst and manage assignments from start to finish.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to functional areas such as journal entries, audit planning, tax compliance, and forecasting.
- Provide operational support to department business group managers.
- Develop and execute project action plans.
- Assist with project management for company initiatives.
- Complete administrative tasks and special projects.
- Build professional contacts across the company.
What you'll need#
- Full-time student status.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate credits in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site at our headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Omaha, Nebraska.
- The position is paid with an estimated wage between $21 and $25 per hour.
- We provide relocation stipends and housing for students living more than 65 miles from Omaha.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
