About the role#
Turner Construction Company is hiring an Information Services Intern for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site in Toledo, Ohio, supporting the Information Services Support team. This is a paid, full-time position. You will assist with the maintenance of information systems, data analysis, and cybersecurity protocols while gaining hands-on experience in a construction environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide end-user support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage support tickets, including creating, updating, and resolving requests.
- Deploy hardware and software, including imaging devices and setting up jobsites.
- Track IS assets like hardware, network devices, and software licenses.
- Create and update documentation for systems, inventory, and project sites.
- Prepare materials and help lead training sessions for IS applications.
- Test and validate new software updates and system configurations.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment when on construction sites.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity program.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
- Skill in developing training materials for end users.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with the IS team.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with employees, clients, and subcontractors.
