About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in construction management. You will work on an active project site to build knowledge in project financial management, safety protocols, quality control, and the construction lifecycle. This role is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, and document control.
- Assist with the collection and review of information for shop drawings and submittals.
- Visit project sites to observe and document field activities.
- Help prepare estimates for changes in work from subcontractors.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety programs.
- Assist with project start-up and close-out tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration.
- Ability to read and follow project site signage.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Receptive attitude toward learning construction management processes.
