About the role#
Turner Construction Company is hiring for a Co-Op/Intern position for the Spring 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Boston, Massachusetts. You will work under supervision to gain hands-on experience in construction management, project financials, safety protocols, and quality control. Depending on business needs, you may be placed at an active project site, in a main office, or within a specific division like Preconstruction or Self Perform Operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team with daily tasks including meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, and document control.
- Assist with the collection and review of shop drawings, submittals, and Requests for Information.
- Attend site visits to observe and document field activities.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety programs.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and studies for various project items.
- Communicate with architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors as directed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an academic program, specifically in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Ability to apply academic knowledge to real-world project settings.
- Skill in maintaining professional relationships with employees, customers, and subcontractors.
