About the role#
TRUMPF is seeking a Financial Analysis and Controlling Intern to gain practical experience in a corporate environment. This role provides an opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world financial operations. You will work on-site at our Farmington, Connecticut office from January 2027 through August 2027. This is a paid, full-time position requiring at least 32 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation for the new fiscal year.
- Ensure key figures, hourly rates, and square footage data are accurately implemented in SAP.
- Support business partners by preparing monthly standard reports for upper management meetings.
- Analyze financial data and discuss your findings with team members.
- Help with general process improvements and assist in testing new procedures.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited university or institution.
- You should be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- A high level of attention to detail and a focus on following through with tasks.
- Good communication skills and an ability to learn new systems quickly.
