About the role#
TRUMPF is seeking an Order Management Intern to support the processing of customer orders. You will work on-site in Farmington, Connecticut, from January 2027 through August 2027. This is a paid, part-time position requiring at least 24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support the entry, maintenance, and tracking of customer orders in internal systems.
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, production, and finance teams to resolve order-related questions.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to delivery, pricing, invoicing, or documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Identify opportunities to improve order management processes and data quality.
- Assist with administrative tasks and projects, including SOCR After Tear Down processes, order management experience, internal order processing automations, and incoming order quality.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as business administration, supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.
- An interest in customer service, operations, and supply chain processes.
