About the role#
As a Procurement Student Coordinator, you will support the Procurement team with daily operations, compliance, and administrative tasks. You will assist in processing purchase requisitions and orders while maintaining accurate records. This role involves communicating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. You will also participate in competitive bidding and contract review processes.
What you'll do#
- Provide daily administrative support to the Procurement team.
- Maintain contractual records, documentation, and correspondence.
- Assist with supplier qualification, evaluation, and onboarding.
- Process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
- Support procurement compliance activities.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Participate in competitive bidding and contract review activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support organizational goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, preferably in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Highly organized and able to remain composed under pressure.
- Availability for an 8-month work term.
- Previous experience in supply chain, procurement, administration, customer service, or project coordination is an asset.
- Experience with ERP systems like Workday is an asset.

- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4, 2027 to April 30, 2027, with a possible 4-month extension).
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $2,815 to $4,238 per month, including 4% vacation pay.
