About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship at Trinity Property Consultants. You will rotate through various aspects of property management, including leasing, maintenance, operations, and management. You will work under the guidance of a senior leader and contribute to real-world projects. This position is full-time and on-site in Tallahassee, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Practice sales techniques and support in-house and offsite marketing efforts.
- Develop marketing analysis reports and complete market surveys.
- Learn and use industry-specific software programs.
- Participate in property tours and site visits.
- Assist with maintenance management, including processing requests and pre-inspections for rent readiness.
- Provide customer service and resolve resident complaints.
- Handle clerical tasks, phone support, and record maintenance.
- Process accounts receivable and review financial move-out procedures.
- Assist with legal eviction processes.
- Maintain a community calendar of events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year accredited degree program (Real Estate or related fields preferred).
- Completion of sophomore year by the start of the internship is preferred.
- At least one year of work experience or extracurricular involvement.
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws.
- Ability to perform intermediate mathematical functions and fluently read and write English.
- A customer service orientation and the ability to handle stress effectively.

- Compensation: $19 to $23 per hour.
