About the role#
Trinity Property Consultants offers a 10-week paid internship for students interested in the multifamily real estate industry. You will rotate through various departments including leasing, operations, and maintenance. A senior leader will mentor you throughout the program, and you will work on real-world projects alongside our management team.
What you'll do#
- Practice sales techniques and support marketing efforts through analysis reports.
- Learn to use industry-specific software and manage property maintenance requests.
- Conduct property tours, site visits, and market surveys.
- Handle clerical tasks, phone support, and maintain digital and paper records.
- Assist with accounts receivable, the financial move-out process, and legal eviction procedures.
- Manage community calendars and complete pre-inspections for rent readiness.
- Resolve resident complaints and practice critical decision-making skills.
- Provide customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Real Estate, Hospitality, or Property Management.
- Completion of your sophomore year is preferred.
- At least one year of work experience or involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to perform intermediate math and handle stress effectively.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and leadership capabilities.
- Fluency in reading and writing English.

- Location: Alexandria, Virginia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time. Availability for some nights and weekends is required.
- Compensation: $19 to $23 per hour.
