About the role#
This 10-week paid internship offers a chance to rotate through all aspects of property management. You will work alongside professionals at an assigned community, gaining experience in leasing, maintenance, operations, and management. You will be mentored by a senior leader and work on real-world projects to support our residents and investors.
What you'll do#
- Practice sales techniques and learn the leasing process.
- Conduct in-house and offsite marketing, including market analysis reports and surveys.
- Participate in property tours and site visits.
- Process maintenance requests and learn maintenance management techniques.
- Assist with financial tasks, including accounts receivable and move out reviews.
- Provide customer service and resolve resident complaints.
- Perform clerical support, manage phone calls, and maintain digital and paper records.
- Coordinate community events and ensure units are rent-ready through pre-inspections.
- Assist with legal eviction processes.
- Learn and use industry-specific software programs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year accredited program, preferably in real estate, hospitality, or property management.
- Completion of sophomore year and one year of work experience or extracurricular involvement preferred.
- Strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform intermediate mathematical functions.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Understanding of state laws regarding fair housing.
- Ability to fluently read and write English.
- A customer service orientation and a strong sales background.

- Location: Seattle, Washington.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time. Availability for some nights, weekends, and flexible hours is required.
- Compensation: $19 to $23 per hour.
