About the role#
TriHealth offers Allied Health Science students a pathway to launch their laboratory careers. You will gain hands-on clinical experience through waived and moderate complexity testing. This role provides a route to certification and serves as a bridge to future professional roles. Upon completing your training, you become eligible to apply for Registry-Eligible MT/MLT positions across our laboratory locations.
What you'll do#
- Prioritize, organize, and manage your workload effectively.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of all laboratory work.
- Complete complex assignments as delegated.
- Apply judgment and problem-solving skills to daily tasks.
- Retrieve and process laboratory data.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an approved Allied Health program.
- Completed clinical training in an approved program.
- Eligibility to pursue Registry-Eligible MT/MLT positions after training.
- Majors accepted include Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Health Administration, and Public Health.
Location & details#
- Location: Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Modality: On-site, part-time (48 hours bi-weekly).
- Shift: Evening shift.
- Schedule: No weekend or on-call commitment, with a rotating holiday commitment.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
