About the role#
This unpaid student externship provides physician assistants with supervised clinical exposure in internal medicine. You will work within established departmental protocols and demonstrate professionalism while supporting quality care. This position is part of the Baylor University Physician Assistant Clerkship.
What you'll do#
- Provide clinical support in an internal medicine setting.
- Work under minimal direction.
- Complete all required documentation for both CenterWell and university records.
- Maintain a professional standard of care throughout the rotation.
What you'll need#
- Selection for the Baylor University Physician Assistant Clerkship.
- Availability for the full rotation from October 5 to November 27, 2026.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
- Completion of all onboarding requirements, including a written attestation regarding felony records.
- Eligibility to work in the United States, which requires a Social Security Number.
- A demonstrated interest in enhancing patient healthcare experiences.
- Preferred qualifications include a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and active involvement in campus or community service.
