About the role#
We are looking for a full-time Research Intern to join our team in Cedar Park, Texas. You will work directly under the Clinical Principal Investigator and site management to support daily clinical trial operations. This role focuses on assisting clinical research staff with patient recruitment, eligibility screening, and study documentation.
What you'll do#
- Assist clinical research staff in reviewing protocols to determine patient eligibility.
- Manage recruitment and referral networks by screening subjects against inclusion and exclusion criteria.
- Document patient information accurately within the Clinical Trials Management System.
- Collaborate with the Study Team to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies.
- Maintain site compliance regarding the access, use, and disclosure of protected health information.
- Navigate clinical databases and electronic medical records to support research activities.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though some college coursework is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply clinic policies and research protocols.
- Proficiency with standard office software.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Majors in Biology, Psychology, Health Administration, Public Health, or Biomedical Sciences are relevant to this work.
