About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position at Nationwide Children's Hospital. You will work on-site in Columbus, Ohio, assisting with research studies and experiments under the guidance of our team. This role requires a flexible schedule, including occasional work outside of standard hours.
What you'll do#
- Assist with research experiments and studies.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret laboratory data.
- Prepare and draft research reports and proposals.
- Manage laboratory supplies and ensure equipment functions correctly.
- Keep the laboratory area and equipment clean.
- Organize and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Perform various administrative tasks to support research projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in high school or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse audiences.
- Ability to organize and maintain detailed laboratory records.
- Experience in laboratory analysis and data interpretation is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional after-hours support.
