Imaging Technologist Student - Training

About the role#

This position is designed for students currently enrolled in an imaging program or an Allied Health field of study. Working under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of department management, you will gain practical experience in clinical patient care, equipment maintenance, and department operations.

What you'll do#

• Work directly with patients and families to provide care, including patient observation and assistance with personal needs.
• Coordinate the flow of patients throughout the department and assist with patient transport.
• Provide clerical support and maintain accurate records.
• Support department operations by maintaining equipment, performing quality control procedures, and assisting team members.
• Comply with infection prevention procedures and safety standards.
• Recognize changes in patient status and call for appropriate assistance when needed.
• Demonstrate initiative by seeking additional assignments and supporting the team.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an approved Allied Health program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of radiation safety.

• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: PRN, shifts vary.
• Employment Status: Full-time.
