About the role#
TriHealth offers Allied Health Science students a pathway to launch their laboratory careers. This co-op provides hands-on clinical experience, structured mentorship, and a route to certification. You will gain exposure to waived and moderate complexity testing while developing skills in a supportive environment. Upon completing your education and training, you become eligible to apply for Registry-Eligible MT/MLT positions across TriHealth laboratory locations.
What you'll do#
- Prioritize and organize your daily workload.
- Maintain high standards for accuracy and quality.
- Complete complex assignments as delegated.
- Apply judgment and problem solving skills in a clinical setting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an approved Allied Health program.
- Completed clinical training in an approved program.
Location & details#
- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (Good Samaritan Hospital).
- Employment: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly.
- Schedule: Evening shift, including weekends and rotating holidays.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid position with shift differentials available.
