About the role#
The Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) internship provides a professional work experience focused on business operations. You will gain insight into various career paths at Travelers through planned activities and company events. Interns work together to develop and present solutions to business and operations topics while networking with leadership and management.
What you'll do#
- Engage in an operations and business development curriculum through specific assignments.
- Perform process analysis using Lean Six Sigma.
- Collaborate on project leadership using Agile methodologies.
- Use modern analytical and artificial intelligence platforms to evaluate data.
- Work on technology and digital enablement to modernize business platforms.
- Gain exposure to functional teams such as actuarial, finance, underwriting, and product.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or obtained a Bachelor's or Master’s degree.
- Major in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Insurance, Liberal Arts, Risk Management, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Experience with leadership fundamentals in a professional, academic, or community setting.
