About the role#
The Claim Professional Development Program Internship offers hands-on experience in the insurance industry. You will work with a designated manager or mentor to gain insight into how we investigate, negotiate, and resolve claims. This is a full-time, paid position based in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. We review applications on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Complete a structured onboarding process to learn our systems and protocols.
- Gain exposure to personal and business insurance claims ranging from basic to moderate complexity.
- Learn strategies to investigate, negotiate, and resolve claims accurately and efficiently.
- Estimate damage, determine applicable coverages, and communicate with customers through verbal and written channels.
- Observe the daily work of claim professionals through desk and ride-alongs.
- Develop your customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Complete meaningful project work and other assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Majors in Business Administration or related fields are encouraged.
- You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
