About the role#
This summer internship offers a hands-on introduction to technical sales within the HVAC and building automation industry. You will spend 12 weeks developing your skills in sales engineering, communication, and business operations. The program provides insight into the lifecycle of building systems and prepares participants for potential future roles within the company.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with sales account managers and customers to support business operations.
- Learn the design, application, and sale of building systems, controls, parts, and services.
- Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer site visits.
- Follow the full project lifecycle from start to finish to understand how sales engineers manage jobs.
- Serve as a daily point-of-contact for customers to help build and create solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year before the internship begins.
- A valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months.
- Ability to provide proof of insurance.
- A clean driving record with no major or frequent traffic violations in the last 3 years.
