About the role#
This internship with Walt Disney Imagineering provides an opportunity to support the technical production of Disney theme parks, resorts, and attractions. You will work within the Show Management and Operations team to help bridge the gap between creative design and technical execution. This is a full-time, paid internship located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, running from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare project-specific facility input details for use in the field under supervision.
- Provide general support to project and Show Designers.
- Assist with project mockup efforts as needed.
- Work as a member of a technical team to meet project goals and deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, majoring in Architecture, Graphic Design, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field in Technical Theater.
- A working knowledge of the entertainment or theatrical industries, including lighting, audio, video, set and prop construction, or rigging.
- Proficiency with MS Office products and competency in AutoCAD.
- A strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
- A valid driver's license.

- Compensation: $26.50 per hour for undergraduates; $27.50 per hour for graduate students.
