About the role#
Walt Disney Imagineering designs and builds Disney theme parks, resorts, and attractions. This full-time internship runs from January to June 2027. You will work under the Manager of Project Coordination to support the development of themed entertainment experiences, digital media, and visual arts projects. This role requires you to maintain a broad perspective across teams to ensure project goals are met without duplicating efforts.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate project information between internal teams, creative studios, vendors, and contractors.
- Assist in developing and documenting project scope, mock-ups, and deliverables.
- Monitor project strategies and risk mitigation efforts.
- Facilitate team discussions to align project scope with budget requirements.
- Oversee the arrival of materials for construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to executive management regarding project status.
- Conduct research to support creative development, including historical content and architectural references.
- Coordinate quality assurance procedures and Test & Adjust processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or higher in a degree program such as Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Ability to edit video clips for use in presentations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to present to large groups.
- Capacity to solve complex problems and adapt to changing project requirements.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position located in either Lake Buena Vista, FL or Glendale, CA.
- This internship is a paid, full-time commitment.
- Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization.
