About the role#
As a Menu Planning Intern, you will join the WDI Menu Planning and Partnership Planning group within the Global Creative Strategy Studio. You will support the team by analyzing data related to experience development and performance to provide actionable business insights. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Menu Planning and Development.
What you'll do#
- Apply data analytics to address business problems and inform creative investment decisions.
- Source, input, and maintain product data for global park experiences, including financial metrics, operational performance, and consumer insights.
- Analyze data sets to identify trends using statistics, forecasting, and optimization techniques.
- Communicate results through presentations that combine graphics, charts, and clear explanations.
- Consolidate findings from recently opened experiences to inform future development.
- Assist with research questions, industry insights, and ad-hoc projects.
- Produce planning materials and analysis from initial drafts to final forms.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university in a field such as Data Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Ability to synthesize and convey complex information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail, including planning, editing, and organization skills.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Airtable.
- A strong eye for visual and graphic communication methods.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Unrestricted work authorization and at least 18 years of age.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship running from January 2027 to June 2027.
- The role is based on-site in either Glendale, California, or Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- Interns must be fully available for the duration of the program and provide their own transportation to and from work.
