About the role#
Walt Disney Imagineering is the creative group that designs and builds Disney theme parks, resorts, and attractions. This internship role focuses on civil engineering design, analysis, and calculations for site development projects. You will work on tasks related to hydrology, hydraulics, sewerage, water treatment, and utility coordination for individual facilities or theme park projects.
What you'll do#
- Complete civil engineering design and calculation tasks.
- Make decisions within established guidelines.
- Provide engineering design and analysis to support the production of construction contract documents.
- Coordinate work by communicating across structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher in a Civil Engineering degree program at an accredited college or university.
- General knowledge of civil engineering curriculum, specifically regarding grading, hydrology, hydraulics, detention ponds, and utility coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Engineer-in-Training certification.
- Active membership in a professional engineering organization.
- Ability to provide your own transportation to and from the work site.

- Location: Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to June 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation: $31 per hour for undergraduate students or $36 per hour for graduate level students.
