About the role#
This is a full-time Industrial Engineering internship based in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The program runs during the Summer and Fall of 2027. You will provide analytical and consulting support across various business lines, including Merchandise, Attractions, and Entertainment. This role offers the opportunity to work with Industrial Engineers and interact with teams across all levels of the company.
What you'll do#
- Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects focused on operational planning, workload forecasting, capacity utilization, and process improvements.
- Apply appropriate methodologies, measurements, and quantitative techniques such as data collection, computer simulation, statistics, and process flow analysis.
- Lead and participate in team projects that require collaboration with cast members and management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Engineering program with an intended graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. You must submit a transcript for consideration.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- A willingness to learn new software applications.
- Prior work experience with a focus on problem-solving.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, or currently participating in a Disney College Program or Internship.
- You must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
- You must be fully available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends required based on project needs.
- You are responsible for providing your own housing and reliable transportation to and from work.
- You must remain compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
- This is a paid internship at a rate of $32.00 per hour.
