About the role#
We are looking for a photography intern to join our Food & Beverage and Merchandise team. You will learn about art direction, food styling, photo retouching, lighting, and project coordination. You will report to the Creative & Photography Manager and work with creative partners to plan and execute photoshoots from start to finish.
What you'll do#
- Capture photos and videos for menus, marketing materials, and social media channels.
- Produce imagery for the Merchandise Product Locator, Mobile Checkout, and store inventory management systems.
- Supply content for Guest-facing media, including the Disney Parks Blog.
- Manage workflow logistics for photoshoots to ensure high-quality delivery.
What you'll need#
- A background in photography with technical expertise and studio experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- A valid US driver license and the ability to operate a vehicle.
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation (within 6 months) from a degree program in Photography, Art, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Comfort working in outdoor environments and various weather conditions, including periods of standing or walking.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- The term runs from January 2027 through June 2027.
- This is a full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week.
- The pay rate for this role is $22.10 per hour.
